this is where the less popular bands will go so they're easy to find. just like the other page, i'll write more as i feel like. i try to include as much as i can for bands with less info on them, so if you have anything i didn't include, please tell me!

if youd like to find stuff to just listen to (most bands with little to no info on..so i can't really put them here) check out hazsub and the blog, poison garden hill, Нерв MZFK, m1ztertimn, necro cannibal, nu metal 4ever...and let me know if i missed any cuz i know i did. i think everyone should know these!

factory 81 nu metal band from detroit, michigan, formed in 1997 and disbanded in 2003, which is one of the more well known (of the other bands i'll mention) bands and my favorite band ever! which is why they're the first i include here. members: singer: Nate Wallace, guitar: Bill Schultz, bass: Kevin Lewis, drums: Andy Cyrulnik. their name originated from nate wearing a shirt that said factory 81 and i guess they thought it sounded cool, i would. they want people to think for themselves. that's a thing i like about them, their songs don't have one meaning, they're for you to listen and interpret on your own..they want you to just think...which is fun to do. i'd say they sound unique, singing, rapping, screaming, harmonizing ect. nate has a wonderful voice, andys an amazing drummer, n kevin n bill sound great together. more beautiful sounding singing in songs like Rotten Strawberries and 3 O'clock, more rapping in Nanu, more screaming in songs like Belligerence and a mix in other songs like Diary of a Serial Killer. i've said this a billion times, i'm not good with descriptions, so go listen for yourself. i have a download link for mankind including the nanu music video and insane in the brain in the player section! their unreleased album/demos are available on streaming stuff like spotify, mankind isn't on there cause of their label and stuff. you'd think they'd wanna make money off of it...

learn more here! please read through if you'd like to learn more, i found it real interesting.

my opinions: fav album: well, obviously mankind. it's like one of my favs of all time. BTW that fat guy on youtube and blabbermouths reviews are bs. that album is legendary and unique, i totally recommend it if you like nu metal, cuz its clear ppl who hate on it just don't. mankind was produced independently and didn't have a specific concept, but it talks about things such as police brutality, described images of an apocalyptic earth..ect. again about them wanting people to think for themselves, they didn't make lyrics too specific, in order for people to make up their own meanings sort of. interpret it their way.. they (apparently) didn't want the lyrics out. but in (around) 2019 nate said he planned to release lyrics (if i remember correctly) so you can go check those out to make your own meanings if youd feel like. i'd say make up your own lyrics based on what you hear, but you can do what i said before too. ppl have said their lyrics are bad, but i think they're real good.. fav song: diary of a serial killer, but i also love nanu, 3 o clock love letter and belligerence. fav music video: nanu, fav performance: alrosa villa AUG 31+FEB 6 2001 or CBGB's NY 2000

folder nu metal (they also like the term crossover, but it's the same.) band from bologna, italy, formed in 1997 and disbanded around 2005-6, which is another one of the more well known bands here, and thank god they're actually on streaming services! they're another one of my favorite bands. members: singer: Mana, guitar: Max B., bass: Max C!, drums: Pepo. DJ: DJ Maick. Their name originates from Folder being like..'a box full of styles' which i think is fitting. Their 2 full albums, Keep the Flow (one of my favorites) and Right Things, are dedicated to Alex F. who passed in a car crash in 2000. R.I.P. Mana's collabed with another nu metal band, Kink (Max was in that band too, which is probably why), My Case. And Folder made 2 songs on Keep the Flow with Stuck Mojo, a more popular band on It's Tricky (not on Spotify for copyright i'd assume) and Drastic. Their sound is more..DJ-ey and rapping, i'd say it's similar to Limp Bizkit (they were 1 of their inspirations). And about the members going to other bands, their former bassist Ale P. left to another nu metal band called Cheeky Muff which is also really good. They released KTF in Japan in 2003 and it was on shelves with big bands like KoRn, Slipknot, and System of a Down (they were right next to KoRn and you can see pics on my old Spacehey blog about them) Their album covers: KTF was supposed to be more silly and cartoonish, so they had Brad Lambert (a great artist who's worked with huge bands, you may have seen him before.) draw the album cover. Right Things was more 'dark and introverted' so they had a big alien as the cover, and it was made with 3 bottles edited into a alien face.

my opinions: fav album: keep the flow, one of my favs of all time! which is why this is the 2nd band i write about in this section. high energy and cool, if you like bands with more rapping such as limp bizkit, i really recommend this album, i think you'd love it. and if you like limp bizkits first album, i think you'll like drastic, it has more 'yelling' from the singer of stuck mojo. fav song: left, which was the first song i heard from them. i love how dj maick performed in the song, and the voice effects on mana's voice at some parts. i saw someone say it sounds like reverse puberty... i think it both sounds so cool, but i also love drastic! i'd call some of their songs 'futuristic' sounding. fav music video: well, of course left. fav performance: i don't know it's full name unfortunately, but i know it was in 2003. not a lot of their lives are available online which is sad.

more coming soon! feel free to suggest bands. i might not be able to do some cause a lot of smaller bands lack info... again, i try to find as much as i can.
